I'm looking for information on how to properly rate and discuss
cigars.  Specifically, I would like to know what adjectives are
appropriate for taste, aroma, etc.  I would also like detailed
information on how to tell if you are smoking a good cigar.

Well a good place to start would be Smoke magazine. And if you have a
local cigar retailer you can find alot of usefull knowledge there. If
you happen to live in a big city where they do have lounges and cigar
establishments this would be best.
