what leads etc do i need to work with winDLS nokia service software?

To program Nokia phones, you need a specific 'box' to connect your PC
to the phone and translate the commands.

The finest example I found was here:

It includes software, cables for about every type of Nokia phone and
more.   About $500 US Dollars, or $550 Euro.

These folks appear to be a professional outfit, with quality products.
