Could you please find any information on the falsettist called Pordage who
sang for the composer Handel in London in the 18th Century.

One Mr Pordage was singing together with Italian cembalo player
Giovanni Battista Draghi (* ca. 1640, ? London 1708) at one occasion
just before 28. January 1685.

Your headline says "opera singers", what other singers are you enquiring about?!

Hi sunjan-ga - thanks for that reference, very helpful.  I put "opera
singers" in the headline because that is the general subject.  My
interest is that he is likely to be a distant relative and I am
tracking down what I can about him before I start trawling the
non-electronic sources!  Thanks again - if you find anything else let
me know.
