I was in a store and showing on a TV (the TV was playing a DVD) was a
group of musicians (5 to 7 women) that played classical music on
electric instruments. Like electric grand pianos, electric violins,
electric cellos, etc. Could you please tell me the name of the group
and a place (like amazon) were I could find a CD. Thanks

Hello strbuckskid-ga,

Could the group you are looking for be Bond? You can read a
description of the group at the following link.

RoadandTravel.com
?Bond: Firing Up Classical Music?
http://www.roadandtravel.com/celebrities/bond.htm
?Welcome to the world of bond. And we aren't talking the 007 variety.
These women aren't mere eye candy to a British womanizer, they're
redefining classical music as we all know it. Meet Tania Davis,
Gay-Yee Westeroff, Haylie Ecker and Eos (who mysteriously has no last
name), the ladies who make up the stunning UK string quartet. Ranging
in age from 23 to 26, the bond ladies have taken the UK and the rest
of the world by storm with their new brand of classical music, made
unique by pulsating dance beats and passionate world rhythms. It's the
kind of music that appeals to both 13-year-olds and 63-year-olds --
ageless and captivating.

Consisting of four classically trained musicians, bond performs on
electric violins, viola and cello.?

?The U.K.'s Bond were hailed the Spice Girls of classical music, but
Eos (violin), Haylie Ecker (violin), Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello), and
Tania Davis (viola) composed a vibrant worldbeat sound all their own.
All are well-educated, having played their specific instruments since
early childhood, later accompanying some of the U.K.'s pop acts like
the Divine Comedy, Primal Scream, Embrace, and Mark Knopfler.?
