Ok I'm trying to find an 80s song. I found another answered question
that is very similar too mine and the answer was One more try by Timmy
T.  At first I thought this was my answer too but when I listened to
the song it was all wrong. Much too slow (and I heard both timmy t
versions) and the lyrics are similar but not quite right.  I think I
heard it on a movie soundtrack.  It is very new-wave ish.  Lots of
sythensizers.  If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

I should probably clarify what I think the lyrics are

the chorus goes either "by my side" something something "hand to hold
you" or someting like that.  Or maybe its "one more try"  Ive got the
tune in my head but cant think of the lyrics
