2 part question:

1.) Where is the best place to get a good price on a slightly used but
in good working condition skid steer for my construction business
based in Gilroy, CA (open to buying anywhere in the U.S.)

2.) How much would it cost on average to ship a skid steer either
within the same state or from another location in the U.S?

Howdy hoosier56-ga,

I have found a site that lists some 280 skids for sale in California alone.

They range from a Bobcat 642 with 2843 hours for $4,750 to a Caterpillar 287
with 383 hours for $50,000. They also list some skid steers that are coming
up for auction as well. They are located all over California.

They list over 3100 skid steers across the U.S. but I think your best bet,
considering shipping costs, would be the California locations.

As it is hard to quantify "best" in this case, would a site such as the one
described above do for you? Thanks!

Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher
