What is the "National Net Worth" of the United States from 1980 to the
present? Where do I find these statistics? I believe the US Federal
Reserve or the Department of Commerce, publishes or used to publish a
"Balance Sheets for the US Economy" document but I have not found an
up to date version.

These three links will further clarify what I seek. The first two
links state they are from the Federal Reserve, however they end at
1991 and I would like to find the up to date figures.

The "national wealth" data that is cited in your first link:

was reported annually in the Economic Report to the President up to
the Report year 1996 (which included national wealth data through
1993).  After that, the data was no longer included in the reports to
the President.  Major changes were made to the methodolgies for
national accounts in 1996, which could account for the disappearance
of this particular statistic.

I'd be glad to point you to the data up to 1993, if that would serve
as an answer to your question. There does not appear to be national
wealth data published after that date.
