I backed up all my important files onto a dvd+r disc, burning it with
Nero 6 ultra edition and i think i may have forgotten to finalize it
and now when i try and load the dvd+r disc it will not read and i do
not know what to do i NEED those files on the dvd+r please help !!!

try this test. Use at own risk.

Burn another one, Y, the same way, with at least 3 files. Do not
finalize.  Verify that it cannot be read.
If simulation is successful on Y , Finalize it.  Try reading it.
If read successful, then repeat with your important disk.

well i dont see an option to "just finalize" my dvd+r disc... and when
i put my disc into a dvd+r compatible dvd player it shows all the
files on the tv screen..i wonder if there is a way to transfer the
files off my dvd player to my computer...???
