Ok, you photo buffs. I have a Nikon Coolpix 775 with a SanDisk 32MB CompactFlash.

I would like to buy an additional SanDisk at Amazon.com (unless you
know of a better price place) to have the SanDisk if it gets full, I
can put in the other one.

I looked at Amazon, but I got the creeps that "what if the thing
doesn't work in my camera?"

Help!!
God bless you to know and do His will!

Howdy John,

According to the Nikon web site, here are the approved CF (CompactFlash)
cards for your camera.
http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nikonusa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=5082

"...

Nikon EC-CF 64 MB CompactFlash memory card
Nikon EC-CF 96 MB CompactFlash memory card
SanDisk SDCFB series 16 MB, 32 MB, 48 MB, 64 MB, 96 MB, and 128 MB.
Lexar Media 4x USB series 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 48 MB, 64 MB, and 80 MB.
Lexar Media 8x USB series 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 48 MB, 64 MB, and 80 MB.
Lexar Media 10x USB series 128 MB and 160 MB.

Other brands and capacities of cards may work, but Nikon cannot guarantee
their operation."

From this nikondigital.org (not associated with Nikon) web page, the
specifications for the Nikon Coolpix 775 gives us the type of CF card
your camera uses.
http://www.nikondigital.org/reviews/cp775/cp775.htm

"Media CompactFlash (CF) Card Type I"

From the Nikon page, there is the hint that other Type I CF cards might
work in your camera, and the PCUpgrades.com web site lists such a CF card.
http://www.pcupgrades.com/ktc/info.aspx?promo=true&pn=CF/512

"CF/512 512MB COMPACT FLASH CARD $62.00"

For now, let's just deal with the SanDisk CF cards, as that is what you
have indicated you are pricing. At Buy.com, you can get a great deal on
a SanDisk SDCFB 128 MB CF card which is 4 times bigger than a 32 MB card.
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10307444

"$28.02 ... Qualifies for free shipping"

I looked at the Amazon prices and the above is a better deal than I could
find for the much smaller 32 MB card in new condition and including shipping.

If you need any clarification, feel free to ask.

Search strategy:

Google search on: Nikon Coolpix 775 specifications
://www.google.com/search?q=Nikon+Coolpix+775+specifications

Went to the Nikon "Digital Tech Support Center" web page.
http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?goingto=dtc_options&cat=1&grp=2&productNr=25048

Went to shopper.com and did a price comparison.

Howdy John,

Two places with even better prices on the SanDisk SDCFB 128 MB CF card.

The first is ebuyer.
http://www.ebuyer.com/

Do a search on their "quick find" number: 033524

The price is currently $20.80 plus a few bucks for shipping.

ZipZoomFly currently has it for $27.50 with free 2nd day shipping.

The aboce are courtesy of a search on NexTag on: SanDisk SDCFB 128

Apologies, but "The aboce are courtesy ..." should have read "The above are
courtesy ..." instead.
