No, his name is Veneck/Venick/Vennick - something like that. I have
had his contact info in the past but lost my address book. Thanks for
your help.

I just found him on regular google - his name is Vinick, and he used
to run the Fidelity Magellen fund, now I just want to get to him at
his current business.

Hi neshaw,
After leaving Fidelity Magellan Fund, Vinik did run a Hedge Fund which
closed down after four years.
"Jeffrey Vinik, the former manager of Fidelity Investments flagship
Magellan Fund, says he's closing his hedge fund and returning $4.2
billion to investors by the end of the year. Vinik, who founded Vinik
Asset Management four years ago, says he and the fund's two other
principals, Mike Gordon and Mark Hostetter, decided to manage a
smaller pool of money for themselves and their family."

I have found that Jeffrey Vinik is on the Board of Directors of a
fund-raising organization in Boston. Although there is no direct
contact information for him there, there is however, contact
information and a website for this organization.
Would this information interest you?
Regards,
Rainbow
