What technology is in the current AOL web browser, Internet Explorer or Mozilla (and if Mozilla, does that basically mean Firefox, or is it something else)? Is AOL testing a Mozilla-based browser right now? |

Hi mistercasey, AOL uses Microsoft Internet Explorer. http://help.channels.aol.com/article.adp?catId=3&sCId=304&sSCId=3041&articleId=217276 AOL signed a seven-year contract with Microsoft in 2003, in which it agreed to use Internet Explorer technology. http://www.winnetmag.com/Article/ArticleID/39588/39588.html http://news.zdnet.com/2100-3513_22-5221982.html AOL did test Mozilla technology in 2002. I didn't find any reports of AOL testing Mozilla since then. http://www.winnetmag.com/Article/ArticleID/24421/24421.html http://www.wired.com/news/ebiz/0,1272,52873,00.html Search Strategy aol web browser mozilla technology aol testing mozilla aol microsoft ie OR "internet explorer" mozilla aol browser technology If you need any further information, please ask for a clarification.
