I am looking for handbag manufacturer in either US or abroad. I have 5
structured bag designs which I need to manufacture. I will provide all
the materials, which include leather, fabrics, and hardware. I have
all the measurements for the handbags. I just need them cut and made.
I need to make patterns and samples first, then dies, then go into
full production after I get orders. These will be
high-end designer handbag, so the manufacturer has to be of high
quality. I have been desperately trying to find one in the US, and I
found a couple (some of them come from this Google question)

but they are either overloaded with work and not answering their
phones at all. I was wondering if there are more US manufacturers. The
second on my list is Europe, preferably Italy, and then Asia. I would
like a list and contact information for the manufacturers in the US,
Europe and Asia in this order of importance, please. As many as you

Hi!
I was able to find some additional handbag manufacturers in the US
however I may have a problem determining the quality of their products
since it will be difficult just by looking at the page alone.
Would just a list of contact information for these manufacturers be
enough so that you can just call them up, arrange a face to face
meeting and personally get to hold samples of their product to
determine their quality?
Furthermore, some European and Asian manufacturers do not have
websites so we can't see the pictures. Would just a link to a page
showing a list of manufacturers within these regions be enough since
they are too many as well?

That's fine, as long as they are manufacturers for private labels.
Many times a company is listed as a manufacturer, but what it means is
that they have they own collection which they manufacture, and they
don't work for outside designers. Also, they may manufacture parts for
handbags (most popular being handles), or they do not manufacture
handbags at all, but listed in the directories because they have
something to do with leather (they either manufacture it or distribute
it), so it is assumed they deal with handbags, or they can be handbags
distributors only.
Please make sure that these companies do manufacture handbags off
original designs, just like Belfast Accessoires in Maine (for whom I
left many messages, but yet have to hear back).
