I have a mold problem in my small bathroom in NYC. Last night I
washed everything down with soap and water and then took equal parts
of bleach and water - put them into a spray bottle and sprayed the
entire bathroom to kill off the mold. When I awoke this morning I
found the tub had these brown streaking stains. I tried to scrub it
off with soft soft and a hard nylon brush, but it won't disappear.

According to a Clorox customer service representative all you need to
do is pour HYDROGEN PEROXIDE over everything, wait up to 30 minutes &
rinse.

Another Google Groups posting states:

?Go to your local beauty shop supply house and get their strongest
peroxide (it's a thick gel). Cover the surface thickly, cover that
with plastic wrap and leave it alone for a few days. The warmer the
item is the better.?

CLR Cal / Rust / Lime Remover may help to remove the stain in your tub.

Clorox stained my bathtub, can it be removed?

?A friend told me to use 1/2 Clorox and 1/2/ water to remove mold
spores from the tub. I sprayed this mixture on last night and woke up
to find that I now have brown stains in the center of my tub due to
the Clorox I used last night to kill mold spores. I tried scrubbing it
off with Comet, it helped some, but it's still there... anything I can
do to remove this stain??? My tub is an original porcelain tub, the
tiles on the walls are fine, but the tub got stained.?

?Household bleach is an alkaline material and consequently will
precipitate iron out of water. It sounds like that's what happened
since iron stains are rust colored. A mildly acidic household product
made for removal of iron stains should take care of it. Read the label
for CLR and see if it is recommended for this.?
