Howdy ktt-ga,

Please go to the following site and paste the Chinese text in the "Translate
a block of text" box.
http://babelfish.altavista.com/

In the "Select from and to languages" menu, select either:

- Chinese-simp to English
- Chinese-trad to English

Click on translate and see if that does the trick. If it does, please post
a response to that effect here, and I will post this as an answer. Thanks!

The suggestion I received from denco-ga helped a great deal. I don't
think I need the question answered any longer. Thanks!

Howdy ktt-ga,

I think you might be misunderstanding the Google Answers process.

I posted a "Request for Clarification" so as to make sure that AltaVista's
"Babel Fish Translation" tool would address your problem. You might have a
graphic of Chinese text, in which case Babel Fish would not have worked, and
I would have worked on another answer for you.

As it is, you asked a question, and I provided the solution to that question,
which is why I asked you to post your results here. I, in turn, could then
post the solution as an answer, and then get paid for the answer.

I am posting this as an request for clarification, rather than as an answer,
so as to make sure you understand the process, and wouldn't be "blindsided"
by an unexpected charge.

The next step in the process would be for you to indicate that you will accept
my original request for clarification as an answer so I can post it as such,
and thus get paid for my work as a Google Answers Researcher. Thanks for your
consideration of this request.

If you need further clarification on the above, you should feel free to email
the Google Answers Editors at: answers-editors@google.com
