Hello kogu-ga,

Thanks for your question. I have a few questions for you, if you don't mind:

1) Your question is titled "Television shopping". Does this mean you
only want articles about celebrities selling their products on TV? Or
would any line of celebrity products be of interest, even if not
actively sold on TV?

2) Many celebrities have dived into the world of entrepreneurship. A
few who come to mind: Liz Taylor, Martha Stewart, Paul Newman, Oprah
Winfrey, Donald Trump, Joan Rivers, Mikhail Baryshnikov, J-Lo, Sean
Puffy Combs, and Beyonce.

However, I'm not aware of any celebrities who have made public the
specifics of their deals -- who gets what percentages of the income.
Would you be interested in articles on these celebrities (and some
others) even if the financial specifics are lacking?

3) Lastly, how many such articles would you consider to be a
reasonable number to properly answer your question.

Any additional information you can provide would be quite welcome. Thanks.

Dear APAafalafa:

Thank you for your trying to help me.
 1) I am interested in knowing both celebrities selling actively their
own products and non celebrities selling those products and any
products sold on television. I need to know the industry trend and
forcast for both products with or without celebritiy name attached,
certain channel (QVC, HSN and etc).

2) Even without financial data, I would like to get those findings. I
am more interested in television shopping channels than informarcials.
But if there is any big market shipts in informarcial market, then I
would also like to know about it. In terms of t-commerce, if there is
any breakthrough technology comign to someone like QVC, then I would
like to know about it.

I am writing a paper on the trend and forcast of the television
shopping industry in the US.

Thank you so much in advance for your further help.

I'll give some thought to the new information you provided. In the
mean time, though, I will open up this question in case there are
other researchers who want to take a crack at it.
