I want to find the largest 50 cities in each U.S. State. The top 50 for indiana, new york, ohio, kentucky, etc. etc. etc. I imagine this data can be access via the census 2000 goverment site, but I don't know how. How do I find this information? |

Hello Xemion, Please take a look at City-Data.com. http://www.city-data.com/ Click on the name of the state to obtain a list of cities with a population of 6000 or more. Examples: Alabama http://www.city-data.com/city/Alabama.html Connecticut http://www.city-data.com/city/Connecticut.html If you click on the initial of the state you will get a list of cities with a population of between 1000 and 6000 residents. Alabama http://www.city-data.com/city/Alabama2.html Connecticut http://www.city-data.com/city/Connecticut2.html Would City-Data.com meet your needs? Thanks, Bobbie7 |

Xemion, The World Gazetteer provides population data for the largest cities in each U.S. State. Click on the name of the State to obtain the population of the largest cities. http://www.world-gazetteer.com/r/r_us.htm Does this resource meet your requirements? Thanks, Bobbie7 |
