Hello!
I am trying to gather information about a company apparently called
'Global Standards'. It is also possible that the name of the company
might be different from 'Global Standards', but here is a description
of their services:
The company was an accumulator of information pertaining to
'Standards' and were the first choice (at least in the 1990s) for
engineers, researchers and professors - when they were looking for
information on standards for conducting research or experimental work
and for building equipment etc.
I would like as much information as possible on this company: such as
when this company was started, where are/were they based, information
about their revenues (if possible). Additional information about the
founders of this company would also be appreciated. If they were
acquired by a different company then I would like information about
the company that acquired them.

Hello Pat,
You have asked for a good deal of information about a company that may
or may not curently be in business, and that may or may not be named
Global Standards.
A question of this nature would likely take several hours of a
researchers time, at least. You may wish to reconsider the price you
have posted for this question, given the level of effort involved.

Hello pafalafa-ga:
I am not ready to spend more money on this question. So, I'll just
accept the bare minimum information that you can gather about the
company. It need not be exhaustive. This is what I am looking for:
When was this company started and where is the company now.

Hello pafalafa-ga:
Unfortunately, this (NSSN) is not what I was looking for.
I guess I should have mentioned earlier that I had checked out this
site that you mention: http://www.nssn.org/. I found it (NSSN) when I
ran a Google search for 'Global Standards' and looked around for 5
minutes before I posted this question. This resource (NSSN) is more of
a service owned and operated by the ANSI (American National Standards
Institute).
