Printer: Canon S530D
Printer is functional&will print test-pattern, but will not print text,
from web-pages. No device conflicts, in "Device Manager".
OS= Win XP
Computer: Dell 4600

Here's few questions for you that should help nail down what's going on.

Are you printing from Internet Explorer or some other web browser?

Does it not print anything, or does it just print pictures and not text?

If it doesn't print anything, does the printer seem to respond at all?

Can you print from other applications, such as Word or Notpad?

Problem-solved.
Ink-carts (black), not jetting.
Performed maintenance&now functioning.
