Hi nobelresearcher, Thank you for yet another interesting question. Earth's Atmosphere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth's_atmosphere "Earth's atmosphere is the layer of gases surrounding the planet Earth and retained by the Earth's gravity. It consists of nitrogen (78.1%) and oxygen (20.9%), with small amounts of argon (0.9%), carbon dioxide (variable, but around 0.035%), water vapor, and other gases. The atmosphere protects life on Earth by absorbing ultraviolet solar radiation and reducing temperature extremes between day and night." Dear nobleresearcher: Since you seem quite interested in our forum and you regularly post a lot of questions, please allow me to give you some helpful advice that might result in better and more timely answers to your questions: 1) Put your question in the BODY of the question area rather than the subject line. 2) In the BODY of the question area "ASK" A "CLEAR" QUESTION rather than "Can you tell me?", or "plz". You can use all the space you need to provide as many details as you desire so researchers will know EXACTLY what information you are seeking. This will result in more researchers taking an interest in your questions. 3) Abbreviations such as "plz" may be confusing to some researchers who might like to help you. Researchers here come from all over the globe and speak a variety of native languages. Not everyone is familiar with informal (slang)abbrieviations like that. It's best to avoid them. I hope this helps you have a more productive and enjoyable experience here. I wish you the best in your search for answers. tutuzdad-ga |
