During the 80's while Iran and Iraq were at war, who supplied Iraq
with weapons? As I understand Iraq, it has no heavy industry and even
bought small arms on the weapon market. They probably made a lot of
explosives and clothing, buying the rest. If you know where the heavy
weapons came from, could you give a percentage breakdown of how much
from each country. Of special interest would be info of how much WMD
technology came from other countries.

I have no idea where a percentage breakdown may be found, but I recall
reading that the U.S. supported Iraq with shipments of conventional
weapons during the Iran-Iraq war. Some European countries were also
arms suppliers to Iraq.
