Question ID: 403752
I have paid for a web site that is up and running, i.e.: if I type in
www.kyoto-tokyo-private-tours.com into the address bar of any brower,
my site comes up.

I registered and paid for this site on August 8th, 2004, and I am
pretty sure Google has crawled through the net again since that time.
BUT. . .

HOWEVER, when I try to search for my site on Google (or any other
search engine), I get nothing. From Google, specifically, I get this:

Sorry, no information is available for the URL www.kyoto-tokyo-private-tours.com

I SET UP THIS SITE THROUGH YAHOO! WEB HOSTING??? AM I MISSING SOMETHING?????????

PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION!!!!!!!!!

ianropke-ga:

Have you reviewed the options available to you as a site owner as
listed on Google's "Add your URL to Google" page?

If so, have you already completed this step?

In addition, can you advise whether you have tried any other means of
getting your website included in the major search engines?

Thanks,

It often takes three to six months to receive full search engine
indexing of ANY new site, and longer still for any sort of ranking.

Google locates sites and analyzes their importance (position or
ranking) partly by the number and quality of other sites that link to
them. Do you have any inbound linkage?

Searching under "Your Japan Specialty Service" brings up

http://www.gotokandk.com/yourjapan.html

Was this the original page, now with the new domain
kyoto-tokyo-private-tours.com simply pointing to it?

If so, it's not a matter of "new" site. It's a matter of redirecting
so that the new title and name are properly indexed.
