I am an ALS patient with a feeding tube. I am trying to find a formula that works best for my system without causing intestinal issues (cramping and diarrhea). I have several products to test. My question relates to the approximate time required for 8 ounces of the formula to go through my digestive tract - from stomach through large intestine so that I might more accurately know which product did what. The Ross (Company that makes Osmolite 1.2, Pulmocare, Jevity i.2 and Jevity 1.5) web site requires that I call for help and because of my disease, I cannot talk. Therefore I was hoping you could give me an approximate span of time. |
