clueless-ga:
The Samsung Korean website actually does not lead to a Windows CE
version of the driver, either. As proof, if you go to the NEXIO
portion of the website, at:
http://www.sec.co.kr/index.jsp?COMM_006=LastGoodsPage_001&GOODS_NO=134125&DISP_NO=001005&dispNo=001005&COMU=&curDepth=2&dispNoMall=001002004&COMM_001=0000100003
you will find, below the image of the NEXIO, a pull-down list where
the second and third items both start with "NEXIO"; the third item is
a link to a listing of NEXIO accessories.
Selecting this third item gets you to a list where you can see the
WL-S150K. Clicking on the name "WL-S150K" gets you, in turn, to the
product page for the miniUSB wireless LAN adapter:
http://www.sec.co.kr/PCS.svl?CMD=LastGoodsPage_001&GOODS_NO=133040&DISP_NO=001006&dispNo=001006&COMU=&curDepth=2&dispNoMall=001002004&COMM_001=0000100003
On this product page, in the upper right, you will see a list of links
where one of the links is 'FAQs'; the one right above it is a link to
the drivers list for this product. When you click on this link,
though, you will find that the only driver listed is for use with
WinXP/2000/ME/98:
http://www.sec.co.kr/PCS.svl?CMD=DriverList_001&DISP_NO=003001001&curDepth=3&&dispNo=003001001&COMU=&html=&dispNoMall=001002004&KEY_SEARCH=WL-S150K&DOWN_SHOP_NO=0000100003&SEL_SEARCH=1&FAQ_SHOP_NO=0000100003&SHP=&COMM_001=0000100003&SORT_NO=001
All is not lost, though. When I downloaded the ZIP file anyway and
looked inside, I discovered that the actual driver for this device is
the one for the Samsung MagicLAN SWL-2200U. Fortunately, as I have
used Samsung WiFi equipment on and off throughout the past three
years, I then knew to go to the MagicLAN website at
http://www.magiclan.com to see what I could find for you there.
At http://www.magiclan.com, I found the following drivers for the SWL-2200U:
http://www.magiclan.com/en/download/KmlDownLst.jsp?keyGrpC=PD07
As you'll see when you go there yourself, there is a driver available
for Windows CE 3.0, as well as versions of the driver for PC versions
of Windows. You will also find a manual that you can download, with
installation instructions for Windows CE starting on page 37.
Since I do not have a Nexio, I cannot guarantee that this driver will
address the WEP issue you've encountered. However, I do have a Pocket
PC, so I was able to confirm that running the driver download for the
Windows CE version will automatically initiate installing the driver
using ActiveSync from your Windows XP/2000/ME/98 PC. If you do not
normally have a PC that you use with ActiveSync to synchronize your
NEXIO, then it will be necessary to temporarily arrange for one so
that you can install this driver.
Please let me know if any part of this Answer requires clarification!
