I can provide you with the number of new cars that were sold for each
year from 1993 to 2003 in the United States. Unfortunately I was not
able to locate the number of cars that were manufactured.

Would the number of cars sold be of your interest?

The National Automobile Dealers Association provides statistics
regarding vehicle sales in the United States.

- 8,103,200 new cars were sold in 2002
- 8,714,300 light duty trucks were sold in 2002

A total 16,817,500 light duty vehicles were sold in the United States
in the year 2002.
