"a business that is on the net successfully for 10 + years"

If anyone can predict what is going to be successful in 10yr on the
Internet then they are smarter than most (Or a liar)

10 years ago there was world wide news when a local flowershop put up a webpage.

If you want to look at the big picture and find a business from that
here is my observations

1. Communications prices have been falling since 1850.

When the Royal Mail (British Post Office) introduced the 1 penny
stamp. Before that letters cost up to 12 pennies (1d) to send. It
tripled the volume of letters sent but they NEVER recovered their
profitability.

2. Internet Security is a bad joke.
When crooks can hijack your computer just be looking a picture.

3. People will pay for junk.

Currently 10% of the revenues of all music sold is from mobile phone
ringtones and Internet porn is still the largest business on the
Internet.

So, if you can make paying for services more secure you could make billions.
