The song's title is "Flowers." The original version was sung by Billy Yates, and appeared on his album "Billy Yates." The song was co-written by Billy Yates and Monty Criswell. Here you'll find the lyrics: Billy Yates: Flowers http://www.geocities.com/Nashville/1345/yates.html Here are some places offering used CDs of the album: MusicStack http://www.musicstack.com/listings.cgi?find=billy_yates&t=billy_yates&media=All And here you can buy a CD single of "Flowers": MusicStack http://www.musicstack.com/item/3571028/yates,billy/flowers] There is an audio clip here (just click on "Flowers"): MP3.com http://www.mp3.com/albums/226585/summary.html The song has also been recorded by Gene Watson. Here is his CD: BestPrices http://www.bestprices.com/cgi-bin/vlink/015095556325BT.html?ptitle=Sings-Music-CD If you're interested in learning more about Billy Yates, here's his website: Billy Yates: The Official Website http://billyyates.com/ I have not found any free downloads of "Flowers." Google search strategy: Google Web Search: "take your place in this field of stone" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=%22take+your+place+in+this+field+of+stone Google Web Search: flowers "billy yates" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=flowers+%22billy+yates I hope this is helpful.
