how can i eliminate pop-ups?  google toolbar worked great until i
donwloaded windows media audio/video player today.  now i get multiple pop-ups
every time i get into internet explorer!  what can i do to completely
eliminate them?

I use Opera web Browser and it stops every pop-up. I haven't seen any
pop-up for the long time (as long as I use Opera). Try it...

Assuming you are using a Windows PC, upgrade to XP SP2 with its Pop-up
blocking and...

If you must use IE as your web browser (with Google Bar support), 
use a modified version of IE called MyIE2 or now Maxthon.

Instead of Opera which is shareware or Ad based, 
use the free Mozilla or FireFox as your web browser.
