Did you wish to use value of stock, gross receipts and/or net assets
or some other yardstick for measuring these companies?
I suspect there has been no growth, because mergers have been
converting these to 100 million dollar gross size companies. Three
million dollar Enterprises are often franchises, sole proprietorships,
partenerships or not for profit. Did you wish to include these in the
count?
Question three suggests that you wish to include
companies/enterprises which have no connections to the USA, but
fuction in two or more nations. Was that your intent? Does turnover
include bankruptsies, mergers, sale of any portion of the enterprise,
or does it perhaps refer to inventory? By some definitions, nearly
every enterprise "sources" a few things internationally. Neil

The yardstick to measure the trends are : Sales Receipts : The number
of companies can include (sole proprietorships, partnerships). It
should not include not for profit, or franchises.

Question 3 indicates, that US companies who source (international
products) or market their products (in any country outside US). I
would prefer to have more information of companies who market their
products outside US.
