I am looking for any information that you can find about a
pharmaceutical sales team that Cardinal Health has formed that is
based on the "Shared Sales Team" model. This is a new service they are
offering. A shared sales team works in the following way:
pharmaceutical companies can save money by "sharing" the cost of
having their drugs detailed to doctors with other pharmaceutical
companies. So a rep. would have 4 drugs mfg. by different companies
(not competitive drugs) & call on the same dr. The cost for this then
falls on 4 companies instead of 1. Companies that offer such services
are called Contract Sales Organizations (CSO) or Outsourcing
companies.  Also, Shared Sales teams are different than Syndicated
Sales teams. Is my $50 fee fair?

I have found some information on shared sales teams in CSO's, but
nothing that is specific to Cardinal Health.

Are you interested in shared sales information pertaining to other
companies, or only to Cardinal Health?
