I am trying to find the shipping companies with the best price on
shipping "medium size" (LTCL) packages from USA to Arica, Chile.
I need these packages shipped out from these 3 possible locations:
Dallas, Seattle, or Los Angeles. Dallas would be the primary
location, but pricing the other locations would be of interest too.
Total shipment size: 15 to 60 cubic feet, typically 80 to 400 pounds.
This falls into the LTCL (Less Than Container Load) schemes.
Delivery time: I am not worried about the delivery time, cost is my
primary concern. As long as packages arrive in less than 6 weeks.
I also need to know if the carrier does only personal (moving
overseas) or commercial (product import/export). I am interested in
both types of shipments.
I have already found some leads:
1) sefco-export will do 20 cubic feet of any weight and shape for
$420 from Dallas, but seems to only do personal items (non
commercial).
2) uboxworldwide.com will do several smallish boxes with a $400
minimum from Dallas. However, I may have items that do not fit in
their small box size.
I am hoping to find better rates. Thank you. |
