Question ID: 404890
I need contact info for a graphic designer, preferably an individual
rather than a company, to discuss a potentially large contract or
partnership. Basically, I will need to develop many unique website
skins that may have good follow-up work for
adjustments/customizations. The skins will be for a highly flexible
pre-defined CSS template I've developed. I provide the template, the
designer will provide the graphics and Flash.

Here are examples of template-based skins that are exactly the sort
I'm looking for:
http://www.templatemonster.com

Examples of the particular styles I'm looking for are in the "Games"
category. Of particular note are the authors Demon, Jaguar, and Big
Mama.

That site does not fit my needs because I need a potentially large
number of unique skins/templates and potentially a large number of
customizations to those skins, and I don't not want to work within
their markup. Ideally, I want a list of individual graphic designers
that have shown skill with the above types of template-based designs
and styles. Photoshop, and Flash experience is a must.

The more the individual is willing to work with me, the more business
I will be willing to give them. Design companies are a fallback, but
I will be less likely to work with high markup due to the potential
volume of work I'm looking at.

Hello,

Are you willing to let the designer e-commute with you? Do they have
to be in a specific geographical area?

E-commuting is fine if they understand and are skilled at the
template-based graphics and style I'm looking for. As long as we
start on the same page there, I imagine it would be easy to work out
the details of the work. I would like for them to understand English
very well though, so we can easily work out the details of an
arrangement.

Hello -

Would you say you're looking more for an illustrator rather than a
graphic designer? There would be actual drawing involved, correct?

I suppose an illustrator might be able to do the trick, but the
illustrator would need to provide digital images and also understand
the concepts of skinning design (stretchable graphics that have to fit
on an existing design). Ideally, the contractor would have proven
experience doing what I've described in my question.
