I am searching for PROOF of a flame truck or car "grille" that was
made and photographed before 1999. This could be any grille (the front
of a truck or car) that has a flame pattern. Not a paint job. A
picture, link, and proof is needed. If you have further questions,
please email me.

Have you tried calling DJ Motorsports?

Yes, Putco is our company of course. DJ is the competitor. I know
that a flame automotive grille has existed in the 50-60's but I cannot
find proof of it. One company that supposedly marketed a flame grille
in the 60's was called "Alexander Grille". But I have had no luck
finding it.

I will not be calling DJ Motorsports.

New information is available on this subject. I was incorrect about a
manufacturer or company that has offered this type of design. The
correct company name is "Anderson Grilles" and they were available in
the mid early to Mid 1980's as a car or truck grille with painted
flames for the GRILLE area of the car, truck, or SUV. I know that an
edition of Truckin Magazine featured this product sometime in the
1980's.

Hope this helps you search guru's find what i need. Big tip will be
awarded for the correct finding!
