Hi, I am looking for plant databases that include not only a description of plants but also information about environmental factor influencing the growth of the plant. For example, how much watering it needs? What is the ideal soil humidity for the plant? What is the ideal type of soil for the plant and how it affects watering? What is the best temperature range for the plant and how it affects watering? Sun exposure? Evapotranspiration calculations based on plant type? Etc? | |

Thank you for your help. Dave's database is created by gardeners who provide info that I cannot verify its validity. In addition, it does not provide info regarding plant irrigation needs. Different plants require different watering cycles and grow optimally in different microenvironment conditions (soil humidity, etc.) and I cannot find it in Dave's database unless I am missing something. The USDA plant database is very comprehensive but I cannot find specific information regarding watering needs and other microenvironment conditions that have an impact on the growth of the plant. The ideal source of information should provide the required microenvironment indicators for optimal plant growth. Thank you in advance and have a fruitful day. |
