Dear geterdone,
I have found a number of websites that claim to offer quick, painless,
faxless, and collateral-free loans. Bear in mind that my research
findings are not intended as recommendation or promotion of any of
these services. You should carefully read all parts of a legal
contract, including any fine print, before you consent to it.
Many of these websites advertise similar features, often with similar
or identical wording. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there are
a few financial companies backing many of them, or that many of them
are resellers of a small selection of lending funds. Generally, you
cannot borrow more than $500 or $1000 from any one of these sources.

Most of these sites appear to require that you hold a checking
account. The reason for this is that they can trust the bank, who has
seen you in person, to verify that you are who you say you are.
Without a checking account, they have no way to verify the borrower's
identity, who could be anyone from a child to an indigent person. Once
a loan has been transferred to your checking account, you can call
your local branch and ask them to wire you the money or to suggest
some other means whereby you can make a withdrawal remotely. Once
again, security considerations may require that you appear on the
premises to make a withdrawal. There is simply no way to get around
such regulations. In many cases, it is the bank's insurers and
regulators who demand such a policy.
If you are serious about consolidating your debt, perhaps the best
course of action would be to seek the advice of a banking official. If
you have any kind of collateral at all, such as tools, appliances, or
furnishings, you may well be able to borrow a sum of money in the
vicinity of $4500 from a reputable neighborhood bank. You are the best
judge of your circumstances. My final piece of advice is not to rush
headlong into any contract without first exploring all the possible
consequences in the short, medium, and long terms.
I hope I have been able to assist you with my research. If you feel
that anything in my answer is unclear or incomplete, don't hesitate to
post a Clarification Request so that I can help you further.
Regards,
