I am looking for research assistance in finding a quiet, nicely furnished
apartment 3-4 rooms in or near Le Touquet, France. I will need ADSL access to
the Internet from the apartment. I will be traveling back and forth to
the U.S. for the next 12 months and this would become my temp
residence. I am just starting to learn some French so I may be
temporarily at a disadvantage to communicate directly to get answers.
I am willing to pay a fair price for nice accomodations and will need
to see them, before making any commitment, when I make a short visit

The number of results could be greatly enlarged if you were willing to
consider houses as well, or apartments with fewer than three rooms. How
many listings would you like to see in total?
I'm having trouble determining from your question what kind of information
you require in addition to real-estate listings. Do you want a Researcher
to contact the landlords to inquire about DSL access and the possibility
of a November visit? I could write to landlords in French to make initial
inquiries, but you'll have to confront and overcome the linguistic
barriers sooner or later.
Alternatively, you could get in touch with a real-estate agent in Le
Touquet and leave it to them. Below is a list of agencies provided by

I am looking for maximum assistance since I am not able to take on the
search and conversations. Yes, please make all the contacts for me
about the DSL access and anything else about the facility. To
clarify: My needs are for 1 bedroom, toilet, shower, kitchen, sitting
room with a place to do paper and computer work. There will only be
two occupants, my wife and myself. A small house in a quiet area
would be perfect. Le Touquet is a reference point for my request. If
you find something nice in the direction of Belgium (Iepers) that
meets my requirements that would also be ok but I prefer a location in
France with some English speak community if possible. I would think
the best 2 or 3 listings that you find would be all that I need. Let
me know if you need more details.

I'm sorry, I hadn't been working on the question. I've been rather
busy with a large programming project.
Now that I'm free again, and seeing that no other Researcher has
tackled your question, I'll resume my inquiries. Let me send some
messages of interest today, and I'll translate the answers as they
arrive. I expect the landlords will have responded by this weekend.
It's helpful to know the dates of your imminent visit.
If you do find a suitable dwelling, is it your intention to rent it as
of November for 12 full months?
