I am the main administrator (I believe T-mobile terms it "responsible
party") on a business account with T-mobile. The Federal Tax ID of
the business, not my Social Security number, is the identifier for the
account. I remember signing an agreement as the responsible party,
but I do not recall, nor have a copy of, that agreement.

Question: Am I personally responsible for the bill should the company default?

I need something hard that will stand up in court for this. "My
friend works for T-mobile..." comments are helpful and appreciated,
but not what I need for an answer.

Thank you in advance for your work.

This probably depends in large measure on two things:

1. The nature of the business. Are you working for a corporation
(maximum protection from personal liability), an LLC (some personal
liability remains) or some other form of business? And in what state
is the business registered?

2. The agreement with T-mobile. The commenter below is absolutely
right -- request a copy of the agreement from the company, so you can
review what you signed, and what sort of liabilities it contains.

Hi pafalafa,

To answer:

1. It is a registered (in California) corporation, with corporate
office in Texas. Contract was executed in Texas, and billing address
is in Texas.

2. I will request a copy of the agreement. If you have any input in
the meantime, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

First thing to do is ask T-Mobile for a copy of the Agreement you
signed, which should tell you if you have personal liability.
