Well this was a tough one for $2 hehe. I traced the show from Las Vegas to Paris and there finally found the artist. http://tcp.com/pipermail/clarissa/2003-March/000104.html "Projected onto both the mannequins and the screens behind them are short, silent films that bring the mannequins to life. In one installation, the mannequin becomes a thwarted lover, plucking petals from a daisy, reciting "He loves me, he loves me not." In another, she is the object of affection of a wealthy man driving a Rolls-Royce -- but she turns out to be his hood ornament. These extraordinarily clever cinematic works, created by Parisian video artists Cine-Tfoo, will accompany the exhibit when it moves to the Place Vendôme in Paris in June." The artist's website is: http://www.cinetfoo.com/ (his email is on there) |
