I am doing study for age hardening (heat treatment) of Al2011 or AA2011.
I would like to know the detail of heat treatment including suitable
time and temperature, effect after heat treatment about Al2011 (one
type of Al-Cu).

I got the information below
Optimum strength (T8 temper) is obtained by solution heat treatment at
950 F for adequate time to insure complete heating followed by a water
quench and then cold working to desired part shape and followed by a
320 F heating for 15 hours and air cool.

But, I would like to have more detail information about thermal treatment AL2011.
