I'm looking for an extra large sleeping bag. Length should be no less than 90".
Width 40" to 44". Weight 2 pounds. I'd prefer a rectangular of tapered
bag as opposed to a mummy type, but would consider the mummy bag if
nothing else can be found. I'd prefer to buy from a US or Canadian
company, but would consider European if the freight isn't outrageous
and the sleeping bag met all my criteria. I'm willing to spend about
$300 US for the bag and freight.

I should add that the bag needs to be rated about 30F+.

Answer from a researcher wannabe:

I won't bore you with many links to tapered/mummy shaped 90" sleeping
bags; you can google them up with: "long sleeping bag" 90"

finding square bottomed ones was a bit harder, but here are four of them:

Thanks xpertise-ga. Unfortunately none of the bags in the links you
gave met the 2 pound weight criteria. The last one, which weighed 4
pounds was the closest. And it was priced nice. I might buy it, but
only for trips where it will travel in the car, not on my back.

Thanks again.

Perhaps superfluous comment, but for width, have you considered two
which can zip together?

Hi guzzi-ga. Two zipped toghether would be fine except for the weight
factor. I'm trying to keep the total weight at about 2 pounds. I doubt
that I could find a sleeping bag at one pound per bag.

Thanks for the suggestion.

anything that warm and huge will weigh over 2 pounds, now don't be a
whiner and carry the extra pound :P
