I'm sick of searching for information that I need when there isn't the time to spare to do it. What are companies in the S.F. Bay Area that I can contact and who will find the answers to questions that I have? These include: --Finding me a clothes buying service (I hate shopping for clothing and have no sense of fashion). --Finding me the best person possible to proofread my resume. --Finding me somebody to clean my apartment regularly (I hate cleaning also). --Finding out all of the local companies in a particular industry. I am fairly bright and good at finding information. I want to make sure that the service that I go through is better at it and cheaper than I would be. Does such a thing exist??? |

I would guess that each of these questions, as well as many others, could be answered by a Google Answer Researcher ;-) But in case you'd like to hire a permanent person that would do this for you, I'd suggest a personal assistant. I am not sure what are your budget limits, but a professional personal assistant would be able to provide these and other services. |

I'm sure a researcher will come up with specifics, but in the meantime, why don't you log onto the San Francisco branch of CRAIGS LIST. I'ts on online website (there's a link for every major city) where people read and post and answer free ads -- personals, jobs, apartments, want ads, barter, services, forums -- you name it website. It's free. http://www.craigslist.org Then click on the city you want. I believe San Franciso is the default. |

--Finding me a clothes buying service (I hate shopping for clothing and have no sense of fashion). Nordstroms (and other dept stores) have free personal shoppers. Nordstroms has the best personal shoppers (IMO). You just call them, tell them what you are looking for, they pull LOTS of options for you into a dressing room (even shoes) you come by at your appt time and try them on. Tell them what you like/don't like and they go search the whole store to find you more items that they think you will like. |
