although Bas is blunt in making his opinion known that she is a
hindrance to his training and will affect his performance. Kerr
explains that he needs the emotional support after a fight, but within
months cracks are once again starting to appear. Domestic problems
surface and major problems ensue only weeks from his next fight in
Japan (the second round of the Pride GP). Whether these are factors in
Kerr's loss is uncertain, but it solves one problem in that it
eliminates Kerr from the tournament, and any chance of meeting old
friend and one time training partner Mark Coleman.

Even as he walks back to his dressing room in defeat, the emotional
Kerr is supportive of Coleman and encourages him to go on and win.
Coleman is victorious, taking $200,000 in the process.?
