Question ID: 406421
Did the Nazis have any plans to involve White Russian emigrees in
their administration of Soviet Russia, had their 1941 invasion fructified?

Presumably, the Nazis would have needed people with Russian and German
language skills and the White Russians could have provided such a
resource.

Bryan,
Thank you for accepting my comment. I'll re-post my comment as answer.
Also, I read Anthony Beevor's Stalingrad the other day and he makes an
occasion mention of how White Russians and Ukrainians were used as
translators, seconded into the German Army and used in behind the
lines in anti-Partisan operations. But I think this book may provide a
comprehensive account.

Anti-Partisan Warfare in Byelorussia, 1941-1944
Bayside, NY: Europa Books, 2003
A Study of White Russian Collaboration and German Occupation Policies.
Binding: Hardcover. Pages: 512.

Brilliant, Answerfinder, Very many thanks for your answer.

I've ordered the book from Amazon UK who are sourcing it from America.
It doesn't seem to be generally available in the UK or at any much
better price anywhere else.

What a partnership!

Answerfinder + Amazon = Nirvana

(Or is that a face cream? Or a pop group?)

Bryan,
If you are interested in a comprehensive account, this may be your

Perfect Answerfinder

Very many thanks!

Couldn't find anywhere cheaper but it certainly looks a must.

I now see that Munoz has also written some other interesting stuff.

A great find!
