Measure focal lengths for 2 lenses. Use this data and design an imaging system with a fixed object to image distance and variable magnification. Use ray matrices and plot the locus of positions of the two lenses with respect to the image plane that maintains the image at the same fixed position. Also plot the magnification as a function of the lens to image distance for the farthest lens from the image. My questions, How do I plot the locus of positions of the two lenses? I think by using Matlab. I measured the Focal lengths for both of them and the focal length system and I have the length that measured from designing the image system by taking length between 2 lenses. I made the ray matrices for both of them. Now, How i can plot the locus positions and magnification for 2 lenses? by using matlab. |
