Need current bond rating for Orlando and Tampa. Source can be Fitch or
Moody's or S&P but must be same source for both cities.

Cities generally have quite a number of bonds at issue, and they don't
necessarily have all the same ratings.

Is their a particular type of bond that is of interest here?

Actually not interested in bonds per se. Am looking for a normative
measure of relative financial health.

Hello Shikibobo,

Please take a look at this table.
http://www.gamaliel.org/DavidRusk/Table%205%20-%20bond%20ratings.pdf

Is this the sort of information that you require or do you need something else?

Thanks,

Hello again Shikibobo,

I sent off an email from MOODY'S RATINGS DESK at:
http://www.moodys.com/cust/contact/contact.asp?busLineId=RatingsDesk
regarding the current bond ratings for the cities of Tampa and Orlando.

Timothy Daly, Client Service Representative of Moody?s Investors
Service promptly responded with the following information.

Tampa, city of Florida has a Long Term Issuer rating of Aa3. The
General Obligation bond rating has been withdrawn.

Orlando, city of Florida has a Long Term Issuer rating of Aa2. The
General Obligation bond rating has also been withdrawn.

I hope this helps!

Best regards,
Bobbie7
