Help Finding Websites..

Hi,i am looking for websites that might offer me some information on
doing in vehicle car engine repair.Sort of like [in vehicle car engine
repair for dummies].These sites idealy should be devoted partially or
wholly focused on from the perspective of the backyard mechanic. This
information should include working on the engine block, connecting
rods, pistons, wrist pins and bearings, cylinder heads with the engine
still in the car.Hopefully it should offer good tips and suggestions
on working under these conditions which by a mechanics standard are
considered dirty and not recommended.Interesting ideas on
troubleshooting engine noises would be helpfull.I am not a mechanic
with no experience working on engines but having worked on everything
else brakes, suspension, etc but not actually working on eg:engine block
and cylinder heads. The engine must be in the vehicle.Pulling the motor
is not an option for me.Forums are not what i am looking for.Any and
all comments or suggestions are welcome. Please ask for clarification
if nessesary.Tip if i find exactly what i want.Oh if it helps the
information i need is for a 93 4.3 chevy blazer [tahoe]but does not
have to be specific to that engine. Thanks for any help you can
provide.

Finding a website dedicated to providing such information for such a
wide array of cars would be tough.

You're probably better off going for a Haynes manual. I don't remember
what the older Blazers have in them, so just offhand:

There's also a list of manuals for Chevrolet here, if it helps:

http://www.haynes.com/na101.html#anchor558630

Also just incase you no longer have your owners manual:

Thanks ephemeral

Yes i do have the haynes manual. The manual states although that some
engine work can be done with engine in vehicle as stated in my post it
is not recommended. Therefore there is no information on engine in
vehicle repair. Also i am not looking for a wide range of vehicle
repair.I would be quite happy to have info on chevy's or my particular
model 93 blazer tahoe 4.3.What i am interested in is how to work under
these conditions engine in vehicle considered dirty in haynes
manual.Tips suggestions how best to work in this situation.

Thanks
