I am working on a research project for a DOA (Department of
Agriculture) grant. I would like to find out what the current market
is, domestic and international, for Butyric Acid. Who are the major
producers, distributors and users of butyric acid both domestically
and internationally.

I have been able to determine broad market uses, i.e. flavorings,
pharmaceutical, pesticides, sweetening agent in gasolines, in the
manufacture of esters and in animal feed etc. But I need
pounds/amounts produced per year and the producers/ mfgs names and
production amounts. Major Distributors of butyric acid etc. I need
information that can be cited in my research paper.
