i'm not sure if this is the right category in which to place this
request, but here goes.
my doorman (i live in NYC) has turned to me with a question. he's my
FAVORITE doorman and i'm touched that he asked my advice ... but i'm
over my head.
he suddenly has in his possession a 1926 upright Steinway Piano. He'd
like to get it appraised. (It's here in my apt. house on the east side
of Manhattan.)
He asked my advice ... should he just contact Sotheby's, the big
auction house? Or Cristie's? Or what?
I'd like to give him a really smart and thorough answer. He's
wonderful to me all year long. Besides I don't mind showing off how
empowered Google Answers makes me. Bear in mind ... this is a
NYC/MANHATTAN venue.
I'd like to give him the best advice possible on getting a wise,
accurate, fair appraisal.
HOW, is the question.
mike -- curious, never having asked a question like this one via Google. |
