How to clean up my computer from malicious software (adds, trackers,
trojans etc)? Just installed Ad-Aware: it recognises but not deliting.

There is an excellent tutorial at the following link, follow the
instructions word-for-word (it explains when to go into safe mode,
what settings to use, etc).

At the very least, use the following programs, in the order given.  

1) Run HouseCall, a very thorough online virus scan:

Download and "check for updates" before scanning:
