I have a peice of noetbook paper with the partial words to a poem my grandmother used to recite to me. She jotted them down as she was heading into alzheimers. She couldn't remember the correct words and neither could I. It's called "2 Excuses Met One Day" and this is what I have I Forgot and Didn't think met beside a country well, where they stopped to get a drink. Hello brother shouted one in a glum and dreary way. Haven't seen you for a time, how are things with you today? Well said I Forgot, on my back there falls a lot, I'm abused from day to day, I'm the handy man they call quicker than a cat can think .....then it gets confusing where my grandmother lost the remaining words. Can anyone help? |
