I have a PC running Windows XP Proffesional with service pack 2 (just installed, didnt have this problem before installing sp2) and a iiyama au5131dt lcd monitor. At regular intervals the display jumps a little then is completely normal again. Any ideas on how to diagnose or solve this problem? |

Howdy stenning-ga, An educated guess would be that you are having a driver issue that has been introduced by Service Pack 2. Your best bet is to contact Iiyama and see if they are aware of the problem, etc. From the Iiyama "Contact Us" web page. http://www.iiyama.com/ Technical Customer Service Telephone: 800-594-7480 Fax: 336-852-6790 E-Mail: service@iiyama.com To try to diagnose the problem, you can right click on your desktop, then left click on Properties. Select the Settings tab, then click the Advanced button. Click the monitor tab, etc. and check the settings. It could be a driver or setting issue with your video card as well, so you will want to check with technical support for that, and look at any settings for it that might appear abnormal. Howdy Lee, Here is where you can download the latest drivers for your video card. You might download and install these and see if they make any difference. Make sure you have the original video card CD in case you have to go back to them. ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/61.76/61.76_winxp2k_international_whql.exe Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher |
